Iggy hits number one on Démira’s baby-name-list. Hence the title for her brainchild: thirteen audiotracks that are pieces fitting into a personal, intellectual puzzle. Best defined as surrealist pop music, Démira sketches dream-like scenes and symbolic images, and bizarre assemblages of sounds in her collaging method of music production.

Iggy isn’t just alternative pop music, but manifold thoughts, visions and forms packed into audio only. You’re invited to see her perform the record live for the very first time together with two band members at the Melkweg in Amsterdam om May 10, 2023.
